*Awards Ceremony*

The JROTC Awards Ceremony was held at the CHS Auditorium. Cadets showed up in uniform, and parents were invited to watch.

 *Tiger Challenge*

on March 28, 2009

The JROTC batalion's companies competed in several competitions together.

The first was the Drill-off. Each company selected a 7 person drill squad, commanded by the company commander. Delta Company won the competition, taking the drill streamer. Delta Company's drill squad was commanded by C/CPT Kinzer.

The next competition was for the volleyball streamer. Each company had a volleyball team to compete with each other team. If a team lost, they had to leave the competition. Charlie Company came out on top. The Charlie Company volleyball team was led by C/CPT Graham.

The Raider team split into two teams to compete against each other.

*Academic Team*

The JROTC Academic Team made it to level 2 in the competition. 

*Leadership Team*

The JROTC Leadership Team made it to level 3 in the competition. 

 *Shoulder-To-Shoulder Rifle Team Match*

The top five from our Rifle Team traveled to Taylor County High to complete with several other schools in a shoulder to shoulder.Chris Baker won third place in Highest Score Overall.
